DARWIN, Australia – U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Brian Middleton, commanding officer of 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Marine Rotational Force Darwin (MRF-D), addresses the local community on behalf of President Donald Trump about the significance of remembering the valiant efforts of the U.S. and Australian service members during World War II at a memorial ceremony for the Battle of the Coral Sea, May 7, 2017. MRF-D Marines attended the memorial to pay their respects. While training in Darwin the Marines will continue their long history of serving with their Australian counterparts.
