During the National Night Out aboard Naval Air Station

During the National Night Out aboard Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, a mixed-martial arts demonstration was performed showing different techniques to the participants at the event Aug. 6, 2013. Marines and sailors with Special-Purpose MAGTF Africa participated in the event with a static display of weapons, both lethal and non-lethal. Special-Purpose MAGTF Africa continues to build relationships with the community while simultaneously strengthening U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Marine Corps Forces Africa’s ability to assist partner nations in addressing security challenges in the region.
