ERBIL, Iraq - An Italian Army NH-90 helicopter taxies alongside an American UH-60 in preparation for a multinational flight movement near Erbil, Iraq, May 31, 2019. The units’ primary missions are air movements and personnel recovery. Conducting multinational missions expands the Coalition lift capabilities, allowing the Coalition to circulate more passengers and cargo to sustain the fight. The Coalition remains united and determined in its mission to degrade and defeat Daesh, and continues to work with allies and partners to implement stabilization efforts.
