ETCS(SW/SCW) Eric Lee Zimmerman, assigned to the Arleigh-Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) re-enlisted aboard the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship USS Wisconsin (BB 64) in-front of members of his command and his family. The Wisconsin is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum as a museum ship. Its decks and the museum’s gallery are popular venues for military ceremonies for area commands in the Hampton Roads area.
