Horne of Fayetteville, N.C., a platoon leader with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, Task Force No Slack, examines the medical supplies available to the clinic at the village of Lar Sholtan village in eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province. The unit made arrangements to provide the clinic with its spare medical supplies. Two months previously, a female suicide bomber killed two Soldiers with the unit, seriously wounded two others, three Afghan police officers and at least five children at the village. This marked the first visit to the community by International Security Assistance Forces since the attack.
