Galena, Alaska, July 23, 2013 -- Canoes with outboards are the method of transport for Native Alaskans which travel the salmon rich highway of the Yukon to fishing grounds, fur trading posts, commerce exchange and supplies. Those individuals that were affected by the recent flooding event should register by call 1-800 621-FEMA (3362) and may qualify for Other Needs Assistance (ONA) and or other FEMA programs to those who are qualified.
