US COAST GUARD HITRON HELICOPTER
Summary
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 30, 2004) -- Coast Guard and civilain personnel of Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron carefully load an MH-68 Stingray helicopter into a C-130 for deployment to the Transit Zone, a six million square mile area, including the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and Eastern Pacific, Sept. 30, 2004. Crewmembers of HITRON, based out of Jacksonville, are answering the call of duty on the last day of fiscal year 2004 after a record breaking year for the Coast Guard and its law enforcement partners with 240,518 pounds of confiscated drugs.
