Iraqi soldiers, enrolled in the Iraqi Combat Medics
Summary
Iraqi soldiers, enrolled in the Iraqi Combat Medics Course, carry a simulated wounded casualty to a casualty collection point during their graduation demonstration at Camp Taji, Iraq, Jan. 21, 2016. Task Group Taji provided the Iraqi Security Forces with enhanced combat medical training through instruction and hands on training. Treating simulated casualties in training helps prepare the soldiers to respond to actual casualties in combat. This training is part of the overall Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity mission to increase the military capacity of Iraqi Security Forces fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
