Logistic support areas have been strategically positioned throughout Normandy to cater to over 1,500 U.S. service members who will participate in events that support the 75th Anniversary of Operation Overlord - most commonly known as D-Day. The largest multi-national amphibious attack and operational military airdrop in history, D-Day is considered the beginning of the end of WWII in Europe.
