Jose Rodriguez, from Lifeline Christian Mission, and Ixar Campos, from Clinica Medica San Juan Opico, pose with High Speed Vessel Swift mission commander, Cmdr. Garry Wright. Donated goods offloaded from High Speed Vessel Swift were loaded onto trucks for Project Handclasp as part of Southern Partnership Station 2012. The goods consisted of medical supplies and food which will be distributed throughout the country. Project Handclasp is a U.S. Navy program that accepts and transports educational, humanitarian and goodwill material donated by America's private sector on a space-available basis aboard U.S. Navy ships for distribution to foreign nation recipients. HSV-SPS 12 is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
