LOS ANGELES (September 3, 2017) A Sailors attached to USS Anchorage attempts to dribble past Marines during a basketball tournament as part of LA Fleet Week 2017. The tournament featured teams from the Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, LA Police Department, LA Fire Department and Port of LA Police Department. LA Fleet Week is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard team and experience America's sea services. During fleet week, service members will participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of Los Angeles and surrounding areas have to offer.
