Maj. Gen. Istvan Szabó (third from left), deputy chief of defense for the Hungarian Defence Forces, met with representatives from the Ohio National Guard, City of Delaware and the Delaware Community YMCA May 14, 2018, in Delaware, Ohio. Szabó, in Ohio this week to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his country’s pairing with the Ohio National Guard through the State Partnership Program, got a firsthand look at the Delaware Training and Community Center, which opened in 2015 and is part of ongoing Ohio National Guard public-private partnership initiatives that share costs of developing facilities that can benefit the entire community.
