Summary
Master Sgt. Ryan Voigt, a bioenvironmental engineering technician with the 176th Medical Group, Alaska Air National Guard, adds a reagent into a water sample, May 8, 2011. The reagent will cause a color reaction to the amount of chlorine in the water. Voigt was in Alabama to help test the waste water for permit compliance and related treatment adjustments, and with drinking water for chlorine amount. They were also deploy with another seventy service members from numerous military components and services in Hayneville for an Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) mission. The IRT program allows for real world training opportunities for military personnel while providing needed services to under-served communities in the United States.
