MCGREGOR RANGE, New Mexico - Staff Sgt. Tramel Gordon, an M1 armor crewman assigned to 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division and a native of Perris, California, fires an M17 pistol during a qualification range, October 10. Soldiers from 3ABCT were the first from 1AD to field and fire the new M17 pistol which offers a lighter design and improved ergonomics to increase lethality and operational flexibility.
