Medium close up, left side view, Captain Paul Alfonso, Jr., USAF, reviews procedures for refueling his KC-135 from a technical order on the Charlie ramp at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. The Captain and the other crew members from the aircraft spent a portion of the afternoon on 25 February, 2000, going over servicing procedures following an aircraft generation exercise. Crew servicing becomes necessary when an aircraft lands at an area with no crew chiefs or others who might be qualified to get the plane refueled and off the ground. Captain Alfonso is an Aircraft Commander with the 911th Air Refueling Squadron
