Members of the Oregon National Guard's CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP), drill into a cement block in order to gain access to a collapsed tunnel to extricate a simulated casualty, while participating in the Vigilant Guard-Alaska 2014 exercise, March 29, near Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska. Oregon's CERFP unit mission is to respond to man-made or natural disasters and provide a robust, quick-response search and extraction, with the varied capacities of decontamination, medical triage, treatment and stabilization, and fatality recovery.
