Summary
Military and civilian personnel participate in the San Francisco Fleet Week 2012 Senior Leadership Seminar aboard the USS Makin Island (LHD-8) Oct. 4, 2012. The seminar is presented by the San Francisco Fleet Week Association as part of the humanitarian assistance and disaster response program. From Oct. 3-8, Marines and Sailors of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, I Marine Expeditionary Brigade, will participate in numerous community outreach events including the Italian Heritage Day parade, urban search and rescue demonstration, park restoration projects and hospital visits.
