Mortarmen with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, dig defensive positions after a live-fire exercise at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Jan. 25, 2014. The infantrymen immediately began digging fighting holes and developing fire plan sketches following the live-fire exercise to ensure the company’s position was properly defended. First Sgt.
