Oklahoma Army National Guard training battalion gets new leader
Summary
Lt. Col. Kenneth Mitchell (left), incoming commander of the 2nd Battalion, 189th Regiment, Oklahoma Regional Training Institute (OKRTI) receives the battalion colors from Col. Chuck Booze, commander of the Regional Training Institute during a change of command ceremony at Camp Gruber Training Center on March 3, 2018. Mitchell replaced Lt. Col. Carrie Baker who is retiring from the Oklahoma National Guard this spring. Mitchell will take over the battalion responsible for conducting the Officer Candidate School (OCS).
