Summary
On a hot and humid September morning, more than 200 members of the Puerto Rico National Guard along with the Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, Maj. Gen. Antonio J. Vicens, participated in the second PRNG Suicide Prevention Walk Sept. 21. The citizen-soldiers walked from the PRNG Headquarters to the Old San Juan area and back to HQ's, in solidarity with the Army's Suicide Prevention Program. "The PRNG is a community based organization, therefore, we must be and make everyone aware that one life to lose due to suicide, is one too many," said Vicens. "We march today through our community and neighborhood to let everyone know that we really care." The event is conducted annually.
