Summary
Partner nations participating in Exercise Tradewinds 2014 receive a brief before conducting urban tactics training at Las Calderas Naval Base, Dominican Republic, June 19, 2014. U.S. Marines with Charlie Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, and soldiers with the Canadian Army are training police forces from 13 partner nations participating in phase II of Tradewinds 2014 held from June 16 through June 25. Tradewinds 2014 is a joint, combined exercise conducted in order to improve partner nation counter-transnational organized crime missions and humanitarian aid and disaster response operations capacity.
