Queens, N.Y., April 17, 2013 -- New York Federal Coordinating Officer (FCO) Michael Byrne meets with the Joint Field Office (JFO) staff at the six month mark of Hurricane Sandy. Over $6.5 billion in assistance, grants and loans has been distributed to individuals. Mr. Byrne predicts the JFO will continue to operate through October or November of this year.
