Rhode Island leaders place their hands over their hearts and salute during the singing of National Anthem at a 9/11 commemoration and wreath laying ceremony held at the Rhode Island State House, Sept. 11, 2020, Providence, RI. Honoring the memory of Rhode Island natives who were lost during the attacks of 9/11 are: David Lawrence Angell, Carol Marie Bouchard, Mark Lawrence Charette, James Edward Hayden, Amy Nicole Jarret, Kathryn L. Laborie, Shawn M. Nassaney, Renee Tetreault Newell, and Jessica Leigh Sachs. Honoring the memory of Rhode Island service members who lost their lives in support of the global war on terror are: Sgt.
