SAN DIEGO (July 22, 2020) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Hayley Craig, a Sailor assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), from Jeffersonville, Indiana, answers questions during an interview with CBS News about the actions she took during the fire on the ship. On the morning of July 12, a fire was called away aboard the ship while it was moored pierside at Naval Base San Diego. Base and shipboard firefighters responded to the fire.
