SAN PEDRO, California – Service members participated in the opening ceremony and lighting of the torch for the 2016 POW/MIA Action Memorial Torch Relay at U.S. Coast Guard Base Los Angels/Long Beach on September 15, 2016. Commander Jose Pena, Commanding Officer, U.S. Coast Guard Base Los Angeles/Long Beach and Air Force Colonel Joseph King, IMA to the Director, Global Posistioning Systems Directorate, Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, light the torch that will be carried throughout the Memorial Relay.
