Robert Kendrick, a security forces specialist assigned to the 914th Security Forces Squadron, 914th Air Refueling Wing here, is posted as a guard for the Police Week 2018 wreath that was commemorated, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y., May 16, 2018. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week, paying tribute to the local, state, and federal peace officers who have died, or who have been disabled, in the line of duty.
