Pilot Ken Bowersox (wearing sunglasses) listens to a cassette while on the aft flight deck (015). Mission specialists Claude Nicollier, Kathryn Thornton and Story Musgrave gather around the aft flight deck windows (016-9). Musgrave and mission specialist Tom Akers look out of the aft flight deck windows (020). Covey poses on the forward flight deck, holding a camera (021-2). Akers takes a sip from a drink packet while on the aft flight deck (023). Nicollier looks back at the camera while two other crewmembers take photos from the aft flight deck (024).
