The 66th Military Intelligence(MI) Brigade held a Noncommissioned Officer(NCO) Induction ceremony on Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden, Germany on 10 January 2019.
Over 40 newly promoted Soldiers from across the brigade were celebrated as they joined the ranks of the noncommissioned officer, and walked under the NCO arch as a rite of passage. Command Sergeant Major(CSM) Robert Abernethy, CSM of U.S. Army Europe, and CSM Christopher Matthews, 66th MI Brigade, congratulated the new NCOs and spoke with them about expectations, challenges they may face, and the meaning of the NCO Creed.
