The graduating cadets of the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Reserve Officer Training Corps, stand on stage for their family members to pin their second lieutenant bars on as well as to render their first salutes in the military, during the commencement ceremony May 19. Twenty-five of the cadets will serve in the active Army and five in the Hawaii National Guard, as second lieutenants. Gen. Vincent K.
