The Martin Luther King Jr. Corridor has been established
Summary
The Martin Luther King Jr. Corridor has been established along Mesa Boulevard which includes the 14 “King Sculptures” along Mesa Boulevard near the Martin Luther King Jr. School and park in Oceanside, Calif. Since the 14 art displays were installed 11 years ago, two of the pieces went missing and the other 12 sustained weather damage.
The significance of this event is the unveiling of the two missing pieces of art, the refurbishing of the other 12 pieces and the re-enactment of the civil rights era in remembrance of King and Black History Month.
