The USO Show Troupe performs at Times Square in New York as part of Marine Corps Reserve Centennial celebration, Aug. 29, 2016. For 100 years, the Marine Corps Reserve has answered the call, serving as our nation's crisis response force and expeditionary force in readiness. The centennial celebration is a way to honor that selfless service and to commemorate the Marine Corps' rich history, heritage and esprit de corps. The celebration brings awareness to the Reserve's essential role as a crisis response force and expeditionary force in readiness that is always prepared to augment the active component.
