This year’s 7th annual Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Turkey Trot 5K Nov. 11 is one of several events happening throughout the National Capital Region this fall. Additionally, next month will also see national recognition of a U.S. Soldier: President Barack Obama announced earlier this month that he would award the Medal of Honor to retired U.S. Army Capt.
