Summary

As each student reported for training, he or she was checked in at one of TSCHR's five regional support offices located at Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, NAS Oceana-Dam Neck, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Northwest Annex, and Naval Station Norfolk. The Norfolk Office also operates three satellite service centers located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Saint Julien's Creek Portsmouth and NSA Norfolk. SMO also directs the administrative needs of TSCHR personnel as well as learning site staff not co-located with their learning centers.
TSCHR provides centralized student management, which, covers a variety of support processes for the care and feeding of Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and Airmen from the U.S. armed forces as well as 23 allied nations.

The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
