U.S. Air Force MAJ. Bryan White (left), a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft pilot, and MASTER SGT. Bill Miller, review a pre-flight checklist prior to a refueling mission at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, on Feb 10, 2005. Both Airmen are from the 168th Air Refueling Wing (ARW), Alaska Air National Guard. The 168th ARW is the only Arctic-region refueling unit for all of Pacific Air Forces, and maintains a substantial number of personnel on active duty and civilian technician status in order to meet its daily operational requirements.
