U.S. Army National Guard Soldier, SSG Lucas Budd, assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s Northwest Ohio Joint Engineer Assessment Team, takes notes, during a meeting with local and regional emergency management and healthcare officials, April 6, 2020 at Bowling Green State University’s Perry Field House. The JEAT team is working to assess buildings throughout Northwest Ohio’s Emergency Management Agency’s region, as potential Alternate Care Facilities as COVID-19 cases increase throughout the area. The region, identified as region one, is made up of more than 1.4 million residents in 19 counties, with more than 30 hospitals throughout Northwest Ohio.
