U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers with 2-238th General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), South Carolina National Guard, and U.S. Air National Guard Airmen with 123rd Contingency Response Group (CRG), Kentucky National Guard, conduct sling-load training during Patriot South 2020 at Camp Shelby and Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center, Miss., March 2, 2020. The 123rd CRG is a self-contained, rapidly deployable, unit specialized in airfield operations in expeditionary environment, as well as humanitarian and emergency response missions. PATRIOT is a Domestic Operations disaster-response training exercise conducted by National Guard units working with federal, state and local emergency management agencies, and first responders.
