U.S. Army Spc. Christian Pulido assigned to the 145th Multifunctional Medical Battalion provides security from an overwatch tower during a simulated mass casualty scenario at an entry control point at forward operating base 8-Juliet during Warrior Exercise (WAREX) 91 12-01 and Exercise Global Medic 2012 at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., June 23, 2012. WAREX gives participating units an opportunity to rehearse military maneuvers and tactics such as security, convoy operations and quick reaction drills during simulated enemy attacks. Global Medic is a joint field training exercise for theater aeromedical evacuation systems and ground medical components designed to replicate all aspects of combat medical service support.
