U.S. Marine aircrew members with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 352, assigned to the Special Purpose Marine-Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command 20.2, fold an American flag after being flown in a KC-130J over Kuwait during a division flight in Kuwait, June 24, 2020. The purpose of the division flight was to maintain aircrew proficiency with flying more than two aircraft in formation during aerial operations. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
