U.S. Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 4 Roderick Palmer shakes hands with Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force Capt. Yuki Sonoda during a community exchange program tour on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan June 7, 2019. During the tour, hosted by Combat Logistics Regiment 35, service members visited the base dining facility, supply management unit, a maintenance shop and the Battle of Okinawa historical display, before taking part in a social at the USO. The purpose of the program is to create bonds and increase operational understanding between the JGSDF and the U.S. Marine Corps.
