Rojas, a Santa Clarita, California native, enlisted into the Marine Corps after graduating from Golden Valley High School. Rojas and his unit participated in the Integrated Training Exercise 1-20 and MAGTF Warfighting Exercise 1-20, which was the largest unscripted, force-on-force, exercise conducted by the 2d MARDIV in several decades.
