U.S. Navy chief petty officer selectees from the National Capital Region participate in Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall's Aug. 21 Women's Equality Day on the Fort Myer portion of JBM-HH. Each year, Aug. 26 marks the anniversary of women’s right to vote being granted in 1920 through the passing of the Constitution’s 19th Amendment. On Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, the Equal Opportunity Office in conjunction with Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation coordinated a race to celebrate the observance.
