U.S. Navy (USN) Machinist Mate First Class Dariamie Jackson and USN CHIEF Machinist Mate Jack Hunt hoist a broom up the mast of the USN Amphibious Assault Ship USS TARAWA (LHA 1) as the ship pulls into port on Nov. 7, 2006. The Broom was raised to symbolize the Engineering Departments"Clean Sweep"of the Afloat Training Group's assessment of engineering readiness over the past month an a half.
