U.S. Soldiers of Golf Company, 1st Battalion, 41st Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, use an M88A2 Hercules recovery vehicle to recover a simulated downed vehicle while conducting vehicle recovery training during exercise Combined Resolve IV at the U.S. Army’s Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, May 14, 2015. Combined Resolve IV is a multinational decisive action training environment exercise intended to train a U.S.-led multinational brigade in order to enhance interoperability with multiple partner nations and execute unified land operations against a complex threat while improving the combat readiness of all participants. The Combined Resolve series of exercises incorporates the Army’s regionally aligned force to U.S. European Command with the European Activity Set to train with our allies and partners.
