Vice Adm. Gerald R. Beaman, U.S. 3rd Fleet commander, discusses leadership principles with junior officers at the senior leader mentorship seminar here, Feb. 21, 2013. The officers attending this event sought to improve their leadership skills, and gain information and advice on dealing with their individual commands. Junior officers were able to ask questions to senior officer during round table discussions, and they shared insights among each other.
