Hurricane/Tropical Storm - Plaquemines Parish, La. , March 20, 2009 -- A 15ft storm surge and 9ft residual floodwaters from Hurricane Katrina damaged the interior of the building. Winds from the hurricane caused the water tower located next the auditorium to collapse and destroyed the entire roof as well as the interior of the auditorium.
