A U.S. Marine Joint Terminal Attack Controller with Task Force Southwest sets up an AZL-15 infrared strobe light on the runway at Bost Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug 10, 2017. The IR light is setup to mark the touchdown point as well as the end of the runway for any large aircraft set to land on the runway at night. Task Force Southwest, comprised of approximately 300 Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force, are training, advising and assisting the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and the 505th Zone National Police.
