US Air Force Brigadier General Steven A. Roser (Left), commander of the 60th Air Mobility Wing at Travis Air Force Base, California, receives a handmade wooden box, brought out by the Travis AFB Elite Honor Guard, containing a replica of the Order of the Sword along with an invitation to attend a ceremony in his honor sometime in the Spring of 2000 to receive the Order of the Sword, the highest honor the enlisted ranks can bestowed upon an individual. A unanimous vote must be taken by all Command Chiefs throughout AMC in order for an individual to become inducted into the Order of the Sword. The invitation was given to BGEN Roser during his retirement dinner on October 14,1999
