A US Army United Defense LP M109 155mm Paladin Self-propelled Howitzer, 1Bn/7FA, 1ST Infantry Division travels in a convoy on the Route Arizona roadway. This unit is in Bosnia to serve as a covering force for the 1ST Armored Division's redeployment during Operation Joint Endeavor. Operation Joint Endeavor is a peacekeeping effort by a multinational Implementation Force (IFOR), comprised of NATO and non-NATO military forces, deployed to Bosnia in support of the Dayton Peace Accords

After the opposing forces attacked and damaged the camp runway, the Rapid Runway Repair team from the 90th CES, F.E. Warren AFB, Wyo., went to work filling in the craters using dump trucks and road graders and then began assembling the AM2 runway repair mats.
