A bust of Douglas A. MacArthur on the desk of Capt. Scott M. McCollum, a member of the Missouri Army National Guard, at the Ike Skelton National Guard Training Site, in Jefferson City, Mo., Aug. 22, 2017. McCollum was one of six Army National Guard company grade officers in the country to receive the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, in June 2017, at the Pentagon, in Washington. Among other things, MacArthur attained the five-star rank of General of the Army and notably led allied forces in the Pacific Theater during World War II. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by 1st Lt.
