An aerial view of some of the nineteen antenna towers at the Naval Radio Transmitting Facility located on the edge of the Chesapeake Bay near the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. The antenna range in height from 60 feet to 1,200 feet. The Naval Academy will inherit the land next year as the facility is closed down. At present it has been proposed to dismantle the towers in four years, but several local groups are requesting that the historical navigational landmarks remain
